Manage Process Audits

Use the Layered Audit Lists [S1729] screen to add, edit, copy, or delete layered audits where you can assign critical codes to processes and if a general audit is required.

To add a layered process audit:

  1. Navigate to the Layered Audit Lists [S1729] screen.

  2. On the screen task bar, click Add.

  3. Enter the desired information.

    OnRamp automatically updates the Management Codes for Selected Audit frame with the correct information once the audit is saved.

  4. Click Save.

You have added a layered process audit. To override the default critical code management frequency, as set on Layered Audit Codes [S1728], perform the following procedure.

The selected management code will now receive a notification to perform the LPAClosed Layered process audit, or LPA, is a quality technique that focuses on observing and validating how products are made, rather than inspecting finished products. LPAs are not confined to the Quality Department, but involve all employees in the auditing process. on the selected day of the week, thus overriding the default production day frequency.

Notes

  • For LPAs that are part of a general audit, use the General Audit ID and General Audit List fields.

  • Once the setup is complete, navigate to Run Layered Audit [S1733] to build the list of process audits that will then be assigned to the respective positions.

  • To action a previously created item, select the item and click the desired mode: Edit, Copy, or Delete.
