The following are frequently asked questions that have been answered by our team:
To change a user's password, follow the steps on Reset User Passwords to generate a temporary password for the user and force them to input a new one on sign in.
To increase security and ensure your users are using high strength passwords, follow the steps on Change Password Requirements.
You can, but users will always have to input their password when signing in to OnRamp. However, with the sync, their OnRamp password will be the same as their Active Directory password. Steps to set this up can be found at Sync with Active Directory.
Unfortunately, users are unable to make their own dashboard, but you can create your own custom criteria, depending on the dashboard.
On the Dashboard Customization screen, when you add a new dashboard to the Group Items tab, you will see the available criteria for customization in the Dashboard Criteria tab. Here, you can switch off the default setting and enter your own Custom value.
For unavailable criteria, submit a request using the OnRamp Support System for it to be added. Once the criteria is released, you can assign the criteria to dashboards and reports.
Custom reports are created by clicking the My Reports button on the User Options and Preferences screen [S2065].
Create custom reports under User Options and Preferences > My Reports.
For information on accessing your user options, see User Options and Preferences.
For information on creating reports, see Manage Automatically Generated Reports.
If you are referring to the Dashboard shown when cycling though the available dashboards on the Dashboard Customization screen, these are not stock pictures, they are live dashboards of your plant’s data, but with the default criteria. As mentioned previously you can customize the available criteria on a dashboard
