Labelling Received Forms

Use your web browser, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox, to label received forms.

Note: OnRamp recommends that you have at least 3 separate files of a type (invoice, label, bill of lading, etc.) before you begin the labelling process.

To label forms:

  1. Open your web browser.

  2. Enter the URL for the form labelling app:

  3. Click Open Project.

  4. Select the cloud connection.

  5. Select the desired form model document and click OK.

  6. For each file, click the field on the screen and select the correct tag on the right-side menu.

  7. Repeat step 6 for all the listed tags for each document
  8. Once you have completely labelled all tags on every file, click to train OnRamp.

  9. Click Train.

  10. Copy the Model ID number and paste it into the Trained Model ID field for the entity and form type.


You have labelled and trained OnRamp to recognize the specified text for forms of the listed type for the entity. When PDF files are received for the entity into the IT created folder are processed, OnRamp will automatically create the required database records.


  • FOTT model files are created when you upload modeling documents in OnRamp.

  • Recent form models can be found on the right-side navigation menu Recent Projects.

  • If you select more than one field in error and assign it to a tag:

    1. Select the tag.
    2. Click on the field added in error.
    3. On your keyboard, click Delete.
